André Skaug began his musical journey at 10 years old, playing bass in a gospel choir. He is an educated musician who attended music high school in Norway. In 1992, André lived in Sweden and was handpicked to join the rap-metal band Clawfinger. With Clawfinger, André developed his own bass style and stage presence. Known for his rockin' hair, inviting personality, and stage antics, he continues to offer nothing but his best for the fans, 30 years later.
In 1993, he was chosen to record bass with the band Brothers. Following the recording, video footage and live performances went viral in Norway. Over the years, André's talents have been acknowledged by many, leading to numerous tours with different bands such as PAIN and Hypocrisy. However, Clawfinger will always hold a special place in his heart.
With additional experience working with artists such as E-Type, Leila K, and Just-D, André has also served as an A&R at EBS. He breathes and lives for music and playing bass. André is a great role model for many bassists around the world, admired for his unique stage artistry and incredible musicality.
