Pedro Rivera

Pedro Rivera was born in Guatemala City. He is a songwriter, arranger, producer, and teacher. During his late teens, he won several guitar contests, which motivated him to pursue music as a career.

Pedro is the lead guitar player in Soapbox, alongside Cort Artist Rodrigo Rosales. Both take on lead parts in their songs.

With a broad spectrum of influences including Pantera, Black Sabbath, Daft Punk, John Mayer, and Guthrie Govan, Pedro developed a versatile sound that has allowed him to thrive across various musical genres.

Throughout his career, Pedro has been part of several notable performances and collaborations. He has played in “No Guns, More Roses,” a symphonic tribute to Guns N' Roses, as well as a symphonic tribute to Queen. He has also opened for renowned bands such as Vilma Palma e Vampiros and Fonseca, captivating audiences of thousands.
